Mixing It Up!
Today’s Morning Schedule – Sat 11th March. Mixing it up.
~ 4am to 5.30am – 90 min meditation
~ 5.30am to 6.15am – 45 min yoga
~7 am Office
~ 7.30am to 9am – 90 meditation
~10 am to 1130am – Teach 90 min Power Yoga class
Recently I have been experimenting with my meditation practice.
~ Time of practice
~ Length of practice
~ Number of sessions a day
I have also been watching many meditation testimonials looking for nuances I can add to my meditation practice to get results quicker.
By learning (Intellectual knowledge) more about meditation and practising at the same time I’m able to construct a very powerful mental model of meditation.
This mental model allows me to achieve my specific results much sooner and it’s repeatable.
With all the breakthroughs in neuroscience and the ability to track and measure our thoughts in our brain, we can distil meditation down to a scientific measurable formula.
The best way to get more of what we want in life is by mixing it up with what we are doing and keep adding to the mental blueprint.
I encourage my clients, who come to me, for different results in their lives, to build a new mental model of what they want and practice the new information daily. We need to build an internal mental model that will deliver quick results.
If we are not willing to mix it up, take on more updated information, assimilate the feedback, and practice daily, how can we expect our lives to change?
Yes, we have to put in the work, be passionate about what we are creating, go the extra mile, and don’t stop until we are in possession of it!
