How much does coaching cost is a very common question I get asked. The average price for Coaching can vary between $75 to $1,000 + per coaching session/package, depending on a number of variables. Here are some variables for you to consider when choosing a coach and coaching package.
- Time per session
- Number of sessions per month
- One-to-one coaching
- Group coaching
- In-person coaching
- Online coaching (Zoom)
- Expertise of coach
- Support outside of coaching sessions
- Trust & connection with the coach
These are just a few variables you can consider when deciding on engaging a coach and a coaching package and how much does coaching cost.
You could be thinking right now that coaching is expensive, and I can understand that line of thinking because many of us don’t have a budget for coaching. It’s a service many of us have never even entertained doing.
We all have a budget for:
- Holidays
- Cars
- Houses
- Clothes
- Entertainment
- Education
- Gym
- Etc….
We know exactly what our budget is and choose accordingly.
If you’re in the market to purchase a new car and your budget is 20K, you’re not going to be looking at Mercedes-Benz or BMW. You will choose according to your budget because they will be “Too Expensive”.
So, it’s the same with coaching. First, you need to decide what your budget will be for coaching. Then look for coaches and packages that suit your budget, needs, and lifestyle.
You may even need to talk with the coach to get a sense if you 2 will be the right fit to achieve your goals together. Coaching is a very personal service and I believe you would be better served if you both got to know each other before you said yes.
What I do is offer potential clients a 30-45 min FREE Strategy Session (in person or via Zoom) to learn more about them and give them the opportunity to learn more about me. If we are a good fit (I can help you, because I can’t help everyone) in this first session, there is an extremely high odds we will work well during our coaching experience.
Likewise, when you buy a car, you don’t usually buy the first car you see. You shop around and discover one that will be the best fit. Coaching (Coach & Coaching Package) is the same. Shop around and do your due diligence and choose the best option for you.
