Self Transformation During Challenging Times.
Let’s face it, these are really challenging times that many of us have been experiencing over the last 18 months. I don’t need to elaborate as you know exactly what I mean.
It’s a major disruption in many ways that we have never seen before in our lifetime. We have experienced 10 years of change on different levels in just a short 18 months.
Are we almost done, are we coming out of it, or is it going to get worst before it gets better?
We all have an opinion, which is normal, and most of us will be behaving in accordance with that opinion.
Some of us are reacting, resisting, fearful, uncertain, paralyzed, and not knowing what the future holds and what to do about it.
Where does our power exist, and what can we do about the current circumstances?
Circle Of Influence / Circle Of Concern
Take a quick look at the Circle of Influence / Circle of Concern. We can’t directly control things in our circle of concern. We do have power,100% power, and control to work in our Circle of Influence. This is where we must spend the bulk of our time, especially during these challenging times. We want to invest our time and energy in things that will improve our lives and the lives of those around us with a ripple effect out into the world.
Self Transformation During Challenging Times
Now is the time to UPGRADE our skills and capabilities, and become more psychologically flexible to match the times we are in without being left behind.
This is definitely in our circle of influence, something we can work on immediately.
“What got us here today, won’t get us there tomorrow”.
We need to make ourselves bulletproof to handle the changes and the speed at which these changes are taking place. We need to be ready, super adaptable, focused, calm, with inner peace, clarity, confidence, and solutions for our next move.
All this can be accomplished now, working in your CIRCLE OF INFLUENCE, working on yourself.
Take Action — Self Empowerment
Following is a short list of actions you can implement immediately to build your psychological flexibility, create a Mindset Shift, and learn new skills and capabilities to be bulletproof and outcome orientated.
- Physical, Mental, & Emotional Health — Without your health, you ain’t going anywhere. Take stock of your current health condition. On a scale of 1–10, (No 10 = great health, maintain and move to next step / No 1, poor health, get cracking and start working on your health)
- Evaluate Your Current Situation — Take stock of your current situation. Where are you right now? what’s working / what’s not working? This can be in any one of the different areas of your life, Career, Finances, Family, Relationships, etc… You need to get these closer to a 10, quickly, so you can remove yourself from a fight/flight state (Reptillian Brain) and move to the Neo Cortex Brain (The CEO) where you will make all your Logical and Creative decisions and solutions for your life.
- Get a Clear Picture Of Your FUTURE SELF — Now we are ready to start with a clean slate and create the blueprint of your future self. The person whom you want to be in 6 months, 3 years, or 10 years from now. We can BE, DO & HAVE whatever we want when we create a plan and work the plan.
These are just 3 areas in that I work with my clients (Zoom Monthly Coaching Sessions) to build the foundation and support them to be bulletproof in creating their FUTURE SELF NOW.
