Coaching And Mentoring New Coaches. I can still remember, many years ago, when I was a new coach to the coaching world. I had just completed my International Health Coaching Certification in New York City. I learned a lot during my training of how to help and support my clients which was wonderful. The challenge was that I had all the text book knowledge about coaching, yet, I didn’t have any clients or specific business knowledge of how to build a coaching business. I was confused as to my next step in building my coaching business.

I went online to check out what other coaches were doing and see how they were building their coaching businesses. It was at this point that I realized there is a lot of information online and unless you really know what you are looking for, its confusing. I was now really confused and not sure of my next move.

I started to join different coaching programs, engaged other coaches, looked at offline/online marketing, face to face coaching, online coaching, you name it, I did it…

I found each program was good in itself and served a specific need or purpose in a coaching business. I couldn’t find a single program where I could get the full picture of coaching A to Z.

I wanted to know all the different business needs, the personal / emotional needs for me to grow myself as a coach and my business a well.

It took me many years of trial and error to get myself and my business to were it is today. It’s a big chuck of time, and if I could have short cut the process, I would have done so immediately.

Now, in hindsight, I know exactly what to do to develop and grow a coach and a coaching business.
