One Goal – Happy New Year 2018
The start of another, what’s looking to be, fantastic New Year 2018. Most of us are very aware, me included, how quickly the minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years fly by before our very eyes.
Time is one thing that is irreplaceable. Almost everything else is replaceable in some way, shape or form.
That’s why spending your time wisely on achieving your goals and outcomes in life is PARAMOUNT to living the life of your dreams. How can it happen any other way?
Now… I can already hear you saying how New Year Resolutions and goals don’t work for me. I hear this all the time at the start of the New Year and I get it. I’m on your side as for many years I fumbled, got frustrated and gave up many times until I made it work.
Here is some of the feedback I get when talking about setting goals…
- New Year Resolutions don’t work…
Goals don’t work…
I don’t like goals and goal setting…
Too many goals to achieve…
It’s too hard to do all the steps in goal setting…
I don’t want to be disappointed…
I don’t really know what I want…
I don’t have enough time to make my goals happen…
I don’t have enough money to achieve my goals…
The list goes on and on and on and on…

I’m not going to go into all the reasons why we should set goals and all the benefits because I’m certain you already know that. That then leads me think that knowledge is not the problem.
In my profession as a Master NLP Coach and Trainer I see many times over… people know what they need to do, they know how to do it, they know all the benefits, they know their life will be a thousand times better BUT they find it ever so hard to take action and do it. Nike definitely got it right.

ONE GOAL – 3 SIMPLE STEPS
One goal is my solution to get you started on your journey of goal setting that WILL, if you are true to it, revolutionize your life in ways you could never image.
Step 1
Pick ONE GOAL from one of the areas of your life…
- Health…
Relationships…
Career…
Emotions…
Education…
Finances…
Communication…
Etc…
Pick the one area that is the lowest on your Totem Pole of success and the one area that you KNOW if you can sort this area out it will AUTOMATICALLY create buoyancy and raise all the other areas of your life simultaneously.
Step 2
Decide the outcome you are going to achieve in this area of your life and make an action plan.
Make a detailed plan with DAILY ACTION STEPS.
Sleep with your plan, eat with your plan, shower with your plan, go to the bathroom with your plan, talk about your plan, go on holidays with your plan, exercise with your plan, visualize your plan…
Keep your plan at the fore front of your mind for the next 365 days.
Step 3
Take MASSIVE DAILY ACTION – FEEDBACK – MASSIVE DAILY ACTION
Now that you entire being is consumed with your ONE GOAL, YOUR PLAN, start to take MASSIVE DAILY ACTION.
Continue to LOOP between STEP 2 & 3 for the next 365 days.
If you follow the above 3 steps you will be pleasantly surprised that 365 days was too long a time frame…
