How Our Emotions Are Revealed In Our Emails And Text Messages. I received an email just the other day and as soon as I laid eyes on it, I could immediately feel the emotions of the person who wrote it…
The words used in the email were pleasant, nothing wrong with them…
The tone of the overall email sent a different message and I could feel that the author of the email was less then happy and motivated…
It’s a mixture of what is said, how it’s said, as well as what is not said that transmits someone’s emotion in the written word…
The physical, mental, emotional and spiritual state we are in at the time of writing will be transmitted no matter how hard we try to sugar coat it…
Our state is transmitted in the written word…
My coach showed me a way how to be congruent in state and the written word at the same time and convey the message you want to deliver and I’m going to suggest that this is the very first thing you do before you punch out your next email or text…
1 – change your state, the way you feel, before you sit down to send your message. If you received an email you didn’t like and it pushed your buttons, don’t respond in that state…
2- get out of your chair, move your body, breathe, take a few minutes settle down. Now decide the outcome of your communication and get your body and mind into that state or feeling. You may choose a state of Love, understanding, patience, happy to hear from you, how can I serve this person etc….
3 – now, in your new state prepare your written message and your words will be so much sweeter and the energetic undertone of your message will go straight to their Subconscious Mind and you will have a friend and customer for life…
When people are upset or angry, Its never about us, its all about them, so stop taking it personally, and ask how can I step up and serve this person who is hurting?…
