Lack Of Resources Or Lack Of Resourcefulness.

Lack of resources or lack of  resourcefulness. This morning in my early morning coaching conversation with my client we had a great awareness…

Client was concerned about negative thinking and how she would be in a negative thinking state for half a day without even being consciously aware of it…

This was a challenge because her productivity would decline while in the negative state and stop her from getting those results she so desired…

We came up with a solution and a strategy to make sure we could catch the negative thinking as soon as it appeared to reduce the downtime and poor results it produced…

Then I mentioned to client that a really great way to own the strategy, master the technique was to teach it to her children…

When we teach the content gets deeper into our bones…

It would be a real win/win for all of them…

The client then came back with, oh we are leaving for holidays tomorrow, the house is a mess and we need to pack our bags, I will see what I can do…

When I heard her say those words, it was like a bolt of lightning that came from the heavens and struck me square in the eyes of my mind as I heard the following words vibrating in my head to the sounds of a big brass band…

“It’s not a lack of resources, it’s a lack of resourcefulness”…

We have all the resources inside of us, that’s not the problem…

The problem is how creative will I be , how resourceful will I be, how motivated will I be, how determined will I be to find a way to make it happen?…

We started to brainstorm all the places she could teach her children her new found strategy that would reduce her negative thinking state…

She could teach them…

⁃ In the car while travelling…
⁃ At the cafe…
⁃ At the restaurant…
⁃ At the holiday resort…
⁃ On the beach…
⁃ In The neighbors house…
⁃ In the backyard…
⁃ While walking down the street…
⁃ While they are in bed…
⁃ While eating diner…

We had a lot of fun coming up with a whole bunch of places she could teach her children…

Listen up…

If your not achieving your goals in your life, get resourceful, get creative, have fun and come up with a list of 100 ways you can achieve your goals and watch your mind open up to all the possibilities…

It’s not a lack of resources it’s a lack of resourcefulness…
