Have you ever completed a 30 Day Challenge? Do you know someone who has? What actually is a 30 Day Challenge and what could be the possible benefits?
We all know that exercise is good for our health and we feel so empowered if we have a daily exercise habit. For many people getting started is the hardest part…
Making that first step seems so painful and the resistance is very high…
With a 30 Day Challenge we can BREAKTHROUGH the resistance and start building a STRONG daily exercise muscle / habit…
What is a 30 Day Challenge?
It is very simply a challenge that you take on yourself over 30 consecutive days…
For example:
• Read a business book 15 minutes a day for 30 consecutive days…
• Walk 20 minutes a day for exercise for 30 consecutive days…
• Reduce my meal quantity by 10% from every meal…
• Wake up at 6am and meditate for 10 minutes…
• Spend 10 minutes a day designing my new life…
My 30 Day Challenge this month is to practice 2 yoga sessions every day for the month of October and I’m already 2/3 of the way complete, woohoooo…
Why complete a 30 Day Challenge?
The beauty of a 30 Day Challenge is that it allows you to build a GOOD habit and reduce the level of resistance.
When I started my 30 Day Challenge this month I will admit that some days I was busy, tired and even lazy to complete my challenge… I had resistance and excuses similar to many others.
It was around day 10 that I had a HUGE BREAKTHROUGH…
All the mental resistance of I’m busy, too tired, too lazy all my excuses disappeared… It was such a great feeling…
Now I spring out of bed in the morning so looking forward to completing my 1st yoga session before work and plan my second session before leaving home for the day. It is now a MUST and I will not sleep at night until I’m complete.
The benefits for exercising 2 hours a day is wonderful and that’s just a small part of the benefits to be gained from a 30 Day Challenge…
The Biggest benefit of all is….
Once you develop a DISCIPLINE / HABIT in one area of your life it overflows into the other areas of your life as well…
This is a discipline of the MIND. Your building a mental muscle / strength to create good habits in your relationships, communication, finances, health etc…
During my 30 day Challenge I’ve noticed that I’m so much more empowered as I follow through on my career goals, other health goals, family goals and much much more…
Once you BREAKTHROUGH the resistance in exercise for example you will notice the positive momentum play out in the other areas of your life…
Take The 30 Day Challenge
Select an area in your health where you would like to improve and take the 30 Day Challenge. Always remember where you are starting from.
If you think you are eating too much sugar you can take the 30 Sugar Free Days Challenge
Understand this….It’s about consistency NOT quantity for the first 30 Days…
The best way to make it happen is to share it with the world (and me) and then there is only moving forward.
Please share and comment on your 30 Day Challenge and inspire all our readers.
